Parting should be painless

I hate the last day at a company as much as the first. I guess you could sum it up in one word

Awkward

I hate long goodbyes. I'm not dying or even leaving town. This isn't to say I will be coming around, I never come around places I used to work, that makes me feel creepy. But there are some people here I will stay in touch with and hopefully see around. My desire on the last day is always to slip out unnoticed, and as early as possible. Maybe send out the 'I'll miss you guys' email to all employees, well most all.


If I tell each person goodbye in person I should've started Monday.
